#1 Qualifier John Eby


2003 Champion Mike Saiki had parts failure on Sat which keep him from qualifying, Mike lost in the 1st round to eventual winner Robby Klostriech.


Chuck Pritchard qualified #4 but blew a head gasket on that pass. After a late night thrash session to fix the problem, Chuck lost in a very close race to Gary Brandt in round 1.
