Immediate Release:
The Pacific Street Car Association
(PSCA) is very excited to announce the acquisition of George Klass…
George has been involved with
drag racing ever since he attended his first event back in 1953… Klass
was completely hooked on the sport after he drove his 1940 Ford Flathead
powered coupe down the quarter mile (at the original Santa Ana Drag
Strip) in 1955 when he was just 16-years old. Later on in the 1960’s,
George was a one-third owner in a twin Chevy powered fuel dragster, the
“Pulsator”.
“Adding George to our association is a big step for the PSCA” Comments
Mel Roth PSCA President “We are confident that with his vast drag racing
knowledge and connections in the performance aftermarket, Klass will not
only help the PSCA to the next level, but also look after the sportsman
racer with additional contingency opportunities”
George held the position of Tech Director for the Fun Ford Weekend
program for many years and was instrumental in bringing in sponsorship
and adding to their contingency program. Klass is currently the
Marketing Director for Accufab, Inc., in Southern California, and holds
an SFI Tech Inspector certificate.
Klass will get his feet wet at the PSCA's next event, the Hughes
Performance "Las Vegas Nationals" April 17-19 at the Strip at Las Vegas
Motor Speedway. If your company is interested in posting Contingency
with the PSCA, Email George Klass at accufab1@aol.com We'll have his
official PSCA email set-up in the next few days...
