PSCA Racing Announces Hiring of Event Director

-- PSCA, the leading West Coast Drag Racing sanctioning body, has hired a permanent Racing Event Director, Dave Murray --

QUARTZ HILL, CA - FEBRUARY 19, 2007 - The Pacific Street Car Association today announced that they have hired Dave Murray as the PSCA's Event Director. Dave will take over the duties from Mel Roth who now will assume a more vital roll as PSCA President of Operations and oversee the Event Internet TV & Magazine coverage to assure the PSCA racer's get as much exposure as soon as possible.

Dave Murray has been affiliated in the PSCA since the very beginning as he raced and won in many PSCA classes. Dave has posted wins in True & Outlaw Street classes as well as EFI Challenge & EFI Drag Radial. In addition to PSCA Series wins, Dave also holds 5 current records in Southern California Timing Association!!! Dave has worked at racing orientated businesses such as ProTrans and currently for R&E Racing in Lancaster, California.

"I'm looking forward to what Dave will bring the PSCA and our racers", says Mel Roth, president of PSCA. "I will work close with Dave during and in between events to make sure the transition runs as smoothly as possible. Dave is the right person for this job. Dave will also work closely with our Tech Director Robert B. to assist with additional vehicle spot checks for Fuel, Cubic Inch & Bracket Racing Aides "
