Racing History:  (Series or Street): Ed Thornton began racing on the streets of Los Angeles and its suburbs while attending High School. He was unusually successful on the street earning a reputation for always taking the win. Because he was one of the few street racers with fiberglass body work, he became known as "Plasticman"  Ed decided to become legit and only races his car on sanctioned raceways now days but his reputation for winning was not left to the streets. Ed has been racing in the PSCA for 8 seasons and has amassed 19 Wins and 4 World Championships in the Pro Street Category.
