John Scialpi is a racer's racer. As one of the pioneers of
fast doorslammer racing, John's experience spans over 35
years. He has extensive knowledge of all aspects of racing
engines race car fabrication, and on track tuning. In
addition to his broad understanding of engine and
car set up, John has been on the forefront of supercharged
engine development including designing and building
superchargers, engines, burst panels, pinch valves, and fuel
systems. It is not surprising that John has achieved
success in a myriad of classes including pro-modified to
nostalgia and in several countries including the United
States, Australia, and Canada. His parts and tune-ups can
be found on front running cars around the world.
In addition to assisting customers around the world, John is
also a fierce competitor on the West Coast Pro Mod
Association, NHRA, IHRA, Super Chevy, and PSCA tours. As a
driver, he is well known for his long burnouts, leaving the
line ahead of the competition, and outrunning them to the
finish line. John has enjoyed personal success across the
United States, Australia, as well as Canada. He still holds
the record for the quickest and fastest steel bodied 57
Chevrolet. Despite making a living as a racer, the
good-natured Italian can often be found assisting fellow
competitors.
