2008 & 2009 XDR/TT-5 Champion Roger Holder Jr

Xtreeme Drag Radial / TT-5 is a heads-up class for all types of vehicles. Rear suspension may utilize ladder bar or four-links (no full tube chassis).  Legal combinations include the use of nitrous oxide, supercharger, turbocharger and normal aspiration at different weight breaks for parity. All entries must compete on a must compete on a 12 inch wide (or smaller)  DOT approved, M/T Drag Radial Tire or 29.5x10.5 Slick

 
Class Guidelines:

BODY:
The car must retain its original appearance and profiles. Aftermarket fiberglass or carbon fiber replacement panels are limited to hood, front fenders, doors, deck lid and bumpers. One piece front ends are permitted, but must retain factory head lights, grille and bumper (if originally equipped). 

FIREWALL:
Must retain in original factory location, and be constructed out of sheet-metal. Notching of factory firewall for valve cover clearance is allowed.  Firewalls that are moved from the factory location will receive a 50lb weight penalty..

INTERIOR:
Dash board must be factory appearing and in stock location. 

WINDOWS:
Must be of safety glass, Lexan, or other shatterproof materials, minimum 1/8th inch thick. Also must be clear and non hazy. 

BRACKET RACING AIDS:
The use of bracket racing aids such as optical sensors, delay boxes, stutter boxes, and throttle stops are not allowed. 
                      
CHASSIS / SUSPENSION

FRONT SUBFRAME:
All sub framed or full framed cars must retain complete stock front subframe from firewall forward. Frame connectors or rear frame rails may not pass engine firewall, except for the following exceptions. The 62-67 Chevy II's and 64 1/2-68 Mustangs and similar cars with bolt-on front K-members, must retain stock or aftermarket bolt-on front subframe. The subframe must be a bolt on (not welded, unless kit is OK by PSCA officials) to factory mounting location. Frame connectors or rear frame rails may pass firewall location, but not exceed where original front subframe mounts to the body. All late model Mustangs must retain factory front subframe from firewall forward. Stock or direct fit aftermarket K-members are permitted, but must be bolted in factory location using factory bolt holes. Cross members on all front sub frames may be altered or removed for oil pan clearance. 

FRONT SUSPENSION:
All cars must retain stock suspension, aftermarket tubular control arms, coil over kits, or OEM front strut retrofits are permitted. Replacement Bolt-on Lightweight K-Members are legal, but must be a direct bolt on, no welding modifications permitted. Stock wheelbase will be enforced on all vehicles. You can weld tubes from your roll cage to the front suspension..

**The only front suspension bolt-on kit deemed legal by the PSCA are the CHRIS ALSTON, AJEHEIDTS, Smith Racecraft and *FATMAN bolt-on kits (for 62-67 Nova's, 67-69 Camaro's & early Mustangs)  Total Control Products Coil Over Conversion Kits, and The Rod & Custom Motorsport Mustang II kit for 64 1/2-66 Mustang, Part #RC-106 & Skinny Kid front end kits for late model Mustangs.... Kits must be installed as instructed and not modified.

K-MEMBER
Aftermarket factory-replacement-type K-member permitted, but must attach to the chassis using only the original factory OEM-type mounting bolts. No part of the K-member may be welded to the chassis.

No Restrictions
                                             
DRIVE TRAIN

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS:
Any OEM automatic transmission permitted. Aftermarket torque converter, shift kit, valve body, shifter, and pan cooler use are permitted. Trans brakes are permitted.

MANUAL TRANSMISSION:
After-market clutch (single disc only) assisted manual transmissions are allowed Clutch/Automatics or planetary transmissions (Lenco or Jeffco) are not allowed. Split sliders are also not allowed. All shifts must be made manually without the aid of electric, hydraulic or pneumatic devices. 

ENGINE:
Cubic inch limits. (see weight guide below)

ENGINE BLOCK:
No Restrictions

OIL-RETENTION DEVICE:
All Xtreeme Drag Radial cars must utilize an NHRA-accepted lower engine oil-retention device; may use a belly pan in lieu of a device attached to the engine. The belly pan must extend from framerail to framerail and extend forward of the harmonic balancer and rearward of the flywheel and must incorporate a minimum 2- inch-high lip on all sides. A nonflammable, oil-absorbent liner mandatory inside of retention device.

ENGINE MOUNT LOCATION:
The maximum allowable engine setback from the center line of the number-one spark-plug hole to the center line of the front spindle is 2 inches, except in those vehicles in which the engine was factory installed at a distance greater than 2 inches behind the spindle. In
both cases, the engine must be mounted in front of the Original Factory Firewall Location. For those cars with the firewall moved back and your engine is more than 2" and Less than 4" from the center line of the number-one spark-plug hole to the center line of the front spindle, you will be penalized an additional 50lbs  

CYLINDER HEADS:
No Billet Cylinder Heads Permitted. See weight guide below for individual specifications...

CARBURETOR / THROTTLE BODY:
Any single or dual carburetor or throttle body set-up is allowed

EFI:
Any EFI system is permitted

NITROUS:
Any nitrous combo is legal.

SUPERCHARGER:
Roots up to a 14.71 (No Screwchargers) See weight adds. 

TURBOCHARGER:
Single Turbo 115mm Max Turbo -  Twin Turbo 88mm Max ea.  See weight adds.

MEASUREMENT SAMPLE FOR TURBO ENTRIES: (80mm)
1)
Turbocharger must be of conventional impeller and 
 housing design and type. 2) Turbocharger is limited to a maximum size 
 of 3.14960 inches (80mm) inducer diameter at the point where the leading 
 edge of the compressor wheel meets the inlet housing. 3) Compressor 
 cover inlet is permitted a maximum inlet diameter of 3.24060 inches 
 (82.3114mm) 4) Compressor Wheel to housing clearance must maintain a 
 maximum 0.091 (2.3114mm) clearance beginning from a) the leading edge 
 of the compressor wheel where it meets the inlet of the compressor 
 housing, to b) the transition point where the trailing edge of the 
 compressor wheel meets the volute. 5) All air entering the 
 turbocharger must pass through the turbocharger inlet. 6) Injection of 
 any liquid, gas, or any other substance into the inlet or exhaust 
 housing prohibited. 7) Compressor wheel contour must be continuous 
 features from the inducer to the exducer (no "stepped" wheels).


EXHAUST:
Production type mufflers or collector mufflers are required. Modification or removal of muffler internals is prohibited (no gutting).

IGNITION:
No restrictions

OILING SYSTEM:
No Restrictions. The front cross member may be altered for oil pan removal. Vacuum pumps are acceptable.

ON BOARD DIAGNOSTICS / DATA RECORDERS:
On board diagnostic computers and recorders are permitted. Memory and playback tachometers are allowed.

TRACTION CONTROL:
Not Permitted 

STEERING:
Rack and Pinion allowed on all vehicles.

STREET LEGAL REQUIREMENTS:
All cars are required to have working headlights and tail lights. Brake lights, turn signals are not required to operate.

TIRES:
Front tires must have a minimum tread width of 4.5 inches. Front tires do not have to be DOT
approved. Rear Tires...12 inch MAX wide D.O.T. Drag Radials or Slick - Mickey Thompson 29.5x10.5 (3062 or 3062s) Or Goodyear 29.5x10.5 (D2690 or D2709)

WHEEL BASE:
Must retain stock wheel base with a maximum variation right to left and front to back of one inch.

PSCA Required Decals:
Class Sponsor Decal 
MagnaFuel Decal must be installed on base of windshield on the passenger side. (Bottom left hand side when looking at front of vehicle windshield) before entering the tech area..
PSCA Oval Decals 

1 PSCA Oval decal must be placed on each side of every car in a visible location before entering the tech area..
Series Sponsor Decal 
"Chassisworks" decal must be installed on base of windshield on the drivers side. (Bottom right hand side when looking at front of vehicle windshield) 

Contingency Program & Contingency Decals:
  In order to become eligible for PSCA official contingency program, You must first become a member of the PSCA. You can do this at the PSCA Event Trailer during registration or on-line at the PSCA Store. In order to receive Contingency Monies from any of the listed Contingency Sponsors, you must have the correct product listed and matching Contingency Decal for that product on your car for the entire PSCA Racing Event... Racers will be checked for Products & Decals while be teched in and winners & runner-ups again will be checked in the Winner's Circle after the conclusion of each event. Winners & Runner-ups failing to show up for this mandatory Inspection will forfeit all Contingency Money that is owed!!!! All Contingency Decals may appear anywhere on the vehicle in a clear and organized fashion. Contingency decals may not be overlapped or modified. Most decals are available at the PSCA Event Trailer, but in the event the PSCA does not have the decals in stock, it is the racer's responsibility to obtain the proper decals to be eligible for the Contingency payout.

Penalties For Violating any PSCA Class Or Contingency Program Rules:
Penalties will vary for any PSCA Class & Contingency Program Rule violation's from Championship Point Deduction, Race Suspension, Probation and/or Re-instatement Fine (Paid to St Jude In the name of the PSCA) If you are in any violation that directly effects our "Electronics Policies" (Example: Use of a Delay Box, Use of a Throttle Stop, etc..) You can receive the Maximum Penalty (Disqualification from Event with loss of 50 Championship Points, Two-Race Suspension and a $500 Re-Instatement Donation) You will also be listed on a Web Page for all to view what violation and penalty any racer receives..

RACE DAY POLICY'S
SCALES:
After each qualifying and elimination pass, all XDR cars must stop and weigh at the track scales. If you lose in eliminations, and your opponent fails to make weight you will be reinstated into the eliminations only if you made minimum weight requirements. If both cars failed to make minimum weight, both cars will be disqualified. It is the driver's responsibility to verify with each track scale, the weight of his/her car prior to each race day. There will 5lb error factor allowed. 

Alternating Lanes During Qualifying:
Each XDR driver must alternate lanes during qualifying. Even if you skip a session, you must run the opposite lane you made your previous run in. If you choose to ignore this rule, your second consecutive pass in the same lane will be disqualified.

Entering into a 2nd Class:
During qualifying, any PSCA racer who purchases a 2nd NHRA Tech Card and pays entry into an additional class will be able to do so. However, once your Final XDR Qualifying Session is Completed, Driver and Car are no longer able to make runs in that 2nd class... This also means NO RUNS (Driver and Car) in the Sunday Morning Bracket Time Trials Session.


TOW BACK & TOW VEHICLES:
All
XDR entries are allowed to tow to staging lanes and to the track scales.  All are subject to be searched by a PSCA Official at any time. 

BYE-RUNS:
All
XDR vehicles must take the tree, and run down the 1/4 mile (Unless instructed by PSCA Official) and Scale

PAYOUTS:
  All XDR Racers that earn prize money can go directly to the PSCA trailer after eliminations and pick up his/her Winnings.

Winners Circle Picture & Contingency Verification:
 XDR Winner & Runner-up must return to the PSCA Winners Circle Area for Official Photographs and Contingency Verification. Failing to do so, will result in loss of all contingency monies earned. There are no exceptions!!!
